New Benches
Two new benches have been installed around 7 islands pond, replacing old benches.
Another bench has been removed because it was coming to the end of its safe life span.

A new interpretation board all about acid grassland restoration has been installed on the 7 islands site to the north of the pond.
Over the next few weeks a Forestry Commission approved contractor will be spraying Oak trees with previously reported Oak Processionary Moth (OPM) infestations. If you see motorbikes on the Common call the local Safer Neighbourhoods Team on 0208 649 3604 giving as much detail as you can, and they will respond if they are on duty. If they are not on duty leave a message and call 101 giving details.
Over the next few weeks scrub clearance will be taking place over several areas on the Common. This is to prevent scrub encroachment into sensitive habitats on the Common. Sites included are:
