The area of Mitcham Common behind Mill House Ecology Centre (see link below) is due to have it’s scrub removed in the near future to restore this area for recreation purposes.

A new interpretation board all about acid grassland restoration has been installed on the 7 islands site to the north of the pond.
A new test scrape has been dug on the Mill House sub-site part of the Common, to the north of the Ecology Centre.
