Depending on weather conditions, hay-cutting will start on 15th July.

To facilitate large vehicle access, Mill House Ecology Centre car park will be closed on the 16th and 17th July.

A new bin has been installed on the footpath linking Brookmead Road and Redhouse Road (see photo). This is initially for a trial period. If the bin gets used for dumping domestic rubbish, it will be removed. The bin near Southampton Gardens has been removed because it was being used for dumping domestic rubbish.

Last Summer SGN undertook gas mains replacement works on the Common. Some of the required reinstatement was delay until this Spring.
