A contractor is currently undertaking acid grass clearance on 7 islands, Bidders and Golf course sub-sites.
This is to maintain and enhance the important acid grass coverage.

Filmmaking Near One Island Pond
Over the next few months, visitors to the Common may notice a drone being flown in the vicinity of One Island Pond and the Bidder Memorial. The drone pilot has been commissioned by the Conservators to undertake a filmmaking project on the Common.
Car Park Barrier Repair
The car park height barrier was recently damaged by an unknown vehicle. This is due to be repaired on 16/6/2026. To facilitate this work the car park will be closed during its repair.
Footpath Works
