SGN Gas Pipeline Replacement
On Monday 19 August 2024, SGN will begin work to replace an existing gas pipeline running from the junction of Brookmead Road to the Fairsite off the A2326.
The works will take 10+ weeks and involve inserting a new pipe in the existing pipeline infrastructure. To facilitate the works several storage compounds will be required on the Common. These are shown as the blue shaded areas of the attached aerial photograph.
